Minutes to the Meeting of
March 18th, 2010
President Elect Edward Fay, CHFM, CHSP called the meeting to order on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at the Galloping Hill Inn, Union, New Jersey, commencing at 6:15 p.m. Sergeant-at-Arms Michael DePadova, CHFM, SASHE
Lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Self-introductions were made by all in attendance.

EDUCATIONAL SESSION TOPIC
The educational session was presented by Joseph Santo from Premier Energy and spoke on Energy Procurement and energy options. Joe Santo also provided to the members a power presentation with handouts on energy options.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT
Edward Fay, CHFM, CHSP announce to the group the importance of joining ASHE and the benefits being a member brings to your career. Provided ASHE updates to the members.
PRESIDENT-ELECT'S REPORT
Edward Fay, CHFM, CHSP announced that the 2010 educational calendar of events has been established but sponsorship was still needed. Ed told everyone to look forward to next month's session with Dan Chisholm.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Bill Anderson, CHFM, FASHE presented the following synapses of the 2009 budget:
Beginning Balance: $65,912.59
Disbursements: $7,431.33
Receipts: $10,351.20
Ending Balance: $72,508.35
The organization is solvent.
Bill also informed the membership past due renewals have been mailed out and members who are still overdue will receive a second notice.

Robert Roop, PE. Informed the committee he has been corresponding with the new DEP commission and would be working with him on requirements / restrictions for use of generators for load shedding

GOLF OUTTING
Edward Fay, CHFM, CHSP gave everyone a copy of the save the date for this years golf outing and it will be held once again at Fox Hollow Country Club on Tuesday June 8th, 2010. If you are interested in to sponsor or help out please contact the Golf Chair Amy DiPaolo.

Rajh and Peter Appelmann made brought forward to new members to vote on, Pete added that he would be offering copies of the move up program paper work to regular members to give out to vendors interested in joining the society.

Frank Keller mentioned that Habitat project was awaiting a date from the organization and he would contact the membership, the next Bridges run would be March 31st 2010

ASHE
Edward Fay, CHFM, CHSP reminded the members that there are applications to ASHE at every meeting and urged all members to enroll in ASHE. Provide Region 2 updates from ASHE meeting Ben attended.
GOOD OF THE ORDER
Edward Fay, CHFM, CHSP informed the membership that the Gallop Hill Inn continued to keep the bar open for the entire evening at no charge as a "thank you" for the donation they received from the HFMSNJ for passing of one of the owners family members.
